Project Description

Blaze is an open-source task manager with note taking features built with Typescript,Nextjs,Firebase and Planetscale.Using firebase for authentication,It allows a secure way to access the application storing your vital information on the planetscale database.With a schema designed by me; Blaze allows you create and schedule your tasks,whilst giving you access to take notes in your application.It boasts duo-theming(dark and light) and was built in 12 days as it was a late entry to the PlanetScale X Hashnode hackathon.Do well to contribute!!!!😊😊😊

Challenges

As building a full stack application was new to me,It took me some reading,googling and tinkering to understand the underlying principles of databases and the fundamentals of building an endpoint.I was brought out of the comforts of frontend development into a new aspect of development and it was a fun experience.I had to integrate prisma into an ORM like Planetscale and this was totally new to me.but i got it done anyways because that's what i do😊😊.
